Bring the three JOA reasoning areas together
You have reached the conclusion of the free Service Prep Job Opportunities Assessment breakdown course. The numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning lessons use different kinds of information, but they share a useful process: understand the instruction, identify the relationship, choose an answer and check that it fits.
For numerical reasoning, check quantities, operations and units. For verbal reasoning, compare meanings and separate the stated information from assumptions. For abstract reasoning, track visual features and test the rule across the full pattern. When reviewing a question, identify the exact step that led you towards or away from the answer.
Build a focused review routine
Start with the examples you found difficult rather than replaying every lesson automatically. Write down whether the difficulty came from unfamiliar wording, a calculation error, an overlooked visual feature or rushing. Return to the relevant explanation and attempt a fresh question before deciding that you understand the method.
A simple review record can contain the question type, your chosen answer, the correct reasoning and one thing to check next time. This keeps your attention on the process rather than just a score. It also helps you distinguish remembering a previously seen question from applying a method independently.
Move from explanations to timed practice
The course videos slow down to show how an example works. A timed practice session asks you to make decisions at your own pace without an explanation beside each question. Read carefully, avoid spending too long on one item and review your answers afterwards. Treat a practice result as information about that attempt, not an official ADF score or a prediction of career eligibility.
Service Prep offers a short free practice quiz and paid full timed JOA simulations. The quiz provides a starting point for trying independent questions. The simulations provide a separate timed practice experience. Neither is the official Job Opportunities Assessment, and purchasing preparation materials does not guarantee a particular result.

Scroll down to view the JOA practice test options, open the free practice quiz and explore other enlistment preparation materials. You can also return to numerical, verbal or abstract reasoning through the lesson navigation. The free course remains available whether or not you choose to purchase a simulation.
If you arrived from YouTube, these pages bring the videos and written explanations together in one place. You can watch a lesson, read the method beneath it and follow the next-lesson link when you are ready. Keep any practice resources separate from the real assessment and complete the JOA independently.
