Prepare to talk about the career you want.

Understand your reasons for joining

Take time to examine why an ADF career appeals to you and why you are interested in your preferred service. The motivation topics help you connect your goals with relevant experiences, so you can explain your decision with more detail than a memorised phrase.

Research the job and training ahead

Organise your research into your preferred roles, their responsibilities and training pathways. Use the course prompts to spot missing information, then check the current details with ADF Careers and your recruiter.

Think through service commitments

Explore preparation topics around policies, conditions and military life. Consider how these relate to your circumstances and identify any commitments you need to understand more clearly before progressing.

Practise answering in your own words

Work through guided questions and examples, including additional topics and officer entry preparation. Use the material as a starting point for honest reflection and practice, rather than a script to repeat.

Keep your preparation organised

Download the included workbook and collect your role research, personal examples and practice answers. Refer back to your notes as you work through the lessons and as your application develops.

Learn at your own pace for 90 days

Open the course from your Service Prep member area after payment confirmation. Work through the modules, track your completion and revisit the materials during your access period. The $39.99 purchase is a one-off payment.
